MS says entertainment content is moving to download/streaming, which will be MS's reason not to have Blu-ray. So if Nintendo provides good online movie/TV access I suppose it doesn't matter too much.
But I can see myself still buying movies and TV series on disc for as long as they are selling them in that form, and I have a big back catalogue, so while I am predisposed to buying a PS4 next gen Wii U was a possibility, it got me a bit interested...until now. I only want one device connected to my TV to do whatever it is I need, including playing my movies and TV series I have on disc. So that will mean not the Wii U.
