one thing sony has yet to learn from what i can see is that home console games and handhelf portable games ARE NOT THE SAME.

just look at nintendo's insane selling handheld games and their basically copy home console games. the sales are insanely different. and vice versa. something may be super awesome to play at home on tv and suck to be portable, and vise versa.

did i bring up 3ds.  ones faults does not correct the others.  two wrongs don't make a right. any more sentences needed on that?

besides what i was saying was things like EXACT games being made for both.  like the rift game is it?  i know uncharted is different. 

 

as to above poster, the topic did not list games, and i assumed this was a sony statement by saying we have x amount of games in dev for ps3 and x amount for psv.  meaning some of those are unnanounced as of yet.  or is there someone out there that can look at the ps3 and psv games being developed by sony that we know of and coutn the number for each. 

cause from my thinking it seems that ps3 has a crap load more being made right now that i can think of versus psv, thus why i'm assuming they are referring to unannounced games as well, which brings me to my original statement.  I hope that those don't include essentially the same game just on each system.

the insane selling nintendo games i'm talking about are brain age training and the likes, or new super mario bros

those are quick pick up and play type games that are perfect for handheld.  Ocarina of time and Uncharted ARE NOT good portable games.  yes we may enjoy them becuase they are good games, but they won't sell systems the way games like brain taining or nintendogs do.  they will get a few hardcore people to buy due to liking the series and knowing good games.  yet at same time you will see those same people playing the game in their living room. 

its so much easier to open up mario bros and play a level quick while out and about, compared to say beating a dungeon in zelda or doing an uncharted level. 

and is starfox being made on Wii or Wii U?  is ocarina of time being made on Wii or Wii U.  are you an idiot.  No they are not.  they are being made only on 3ds.  meanwhile is it RIFT?  or how about mgs game?  they are being made same time on BOTH PS3 and PSV.  You can buy the game for EITHER system.  take for example animal crossing 3ds.  if the exact same game was being made for wii then that is what i'm saying.  uncharted 3 and uncharted psv are DIFFERENT games.  Zelda Skyward sword and ocarina of time are DIFFERENT games.  MGS5 ps3 and mgs5 psv are the SAME game.    that is what i'm saying. 

to M.U.G.E.N. is the psv unique features worth enough to warrent purchasing that version OVER the console version? A famous quote when regarding wii games "tacked on controls"  is the psv itterations more than just a few touch screen things that do the same as pushing (x)?
