Depends. Coming from Brooklyn, it's everywhere around you and nowhere at the same time. Once you meet one person who does it, suddenly you look at everyone you know twice and realize that it influences everyone, whether they do it or not. But if you don't surround yourself around it, then it seems as if it doesn't exist. Personally it depends on the mood/time, but it's definitely not a habit, for myself.
All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
