It's also worthy to note that you can get 700 dollar laptops more powerful than that. The difference of course is the power draw, but my Mom is super happy with it when I got it for her because that thing is got a big screen and pretty damn fast.

Yes but the big diffrence is you had to choose laptop with gaming in mind as you had to take model with strong gpu now those gpus will be in every laptop sold that has amd cpu inside (this one is top of the amd line but slower models released later should still pack some nice gpu power).

That means we are looking into future where everyone has gaming machine and can start playing with few clicks of a mouse in one of DD systems.

Hence why I wrote earlier that I'm waiting to see 1-2 years down the road and am expecting dramatic improvement, ATM the bottleneck is the same as always, RAM usage on the embedded GPU.
