I'm getting to be of the mindset that it's not worth getting excited about a lot of more hardcore-focused games from Nintendo since they still seem afraid to release any of them outside Japan... Last Story, Xenoblade, Fatal Frame, Pandora's Tower (no news on a US release), and then Disaster didn't venture Stateside either.
It's no wonder they've lost so many hardcore gamers over the years. If they really want to curry favor with the hardcore crowd, they won't wait until Wii U launches, they'll get some of these other games on shelves in the US and Europe.
