If this use of the IPad becomes popular it can only be a good thing for the WiiU, since (if that happens) by the time WiiU comes out people will be much more ready for this kind of experience (2 screen gameplay with your TV), with lots of advantages for the WiiU side (as previously mentioned multiplayer and FAR better controls and control options, and also lots of other things the WiiU will have that IPad probably won't e.g. seeing what your friends are doing online).
