You keep putting words in my post. I never said they needed a story. They can do whatever they want, but storytelling can be used to add and make games better. And its the reason why i dont finish mario games. Theres just no point. I could play games with fun gameplay, with a story and interesting characters instead. Like bioshock for example.

my b, dont mean to. but i dont see why you need a story to finish a game. the point of finishing a mario game is to explore the games worlds and create your own adventure. a story does help, sure, but it all depends how its told. i feel that backstory should be in the manual or optonal to read and major story developments should be played, not watched in a cutscene. it seems like you just want to watch interactive movies.

Your doing it again lol. And interactive movies are fun, but gameplay is even funner. And gameplay with awesome story and great characters is the funnest. For me anyways. Im done here, its obvious you havent even tried to play games like bioshock.

lol my roommate in college had a ps3 with all the games you would expect and i tried out a lot of games on it. nothing really interested me.
