Neither PS3 nor 360 support native 1080p except a very few select titles (and those are usually PSN/XBLA). Wii U will do that according to Nintendo.
But really now, 360 came in 2005, wasn't even the most powerful device at the time, a powerful PC was better. PS3 has yet to show me that its better than 360, other than the extra storage on the blu-ray disc (Yeye GoW3, UC etc. go play Crysis on 360). So do you really not think that a console coming out in 2012 wont be more powerful? Obviously Nintendo is not aiming to be next gen, but it should be quite a bit more powerful.
