companies should continue using the game pad as its not obsolete in any way and its the currently best way to play video games along side keyboard an mouse. they should then use camera and infrared and all the current technology to read the player as he/she is playing such as heart rate, temperature and facial animation and use that information to create player tailored experiences on there current mood. Once thats done we move onto controlling via eye movement as well as controller. Then mind control because then there is no limitation on buttons an controls.
motion control will have an place in simulations which the military are far ahead but the problem is that we aren't going to have an virtually reality room in every house. So the next logically would be above with collecting player data and using it.
