irrelevant as Gabe would never sell he has had offers before and has turned them down as he apparently has more money than he could ever know what to do with and Valve is more of a passion than a job as he could retire any time he wants but apparently he doesn't like golf so he makes games instead, he was also already a millionaire when he left Microsoft. Also there was reportedly an offer of over $1b just for the steam part of the business and that was pre 2010 and Steam has seen revenue roughly double every year since 2008.
