The wii uses the same technology as the X360 (which is even a little more progressed since unifing CPU/GPU on a single die). there will probably be a 30% performance boost max. compared to X360, mainly due to more memory available.

X360 use powerPC5... WiiU is rumored to use PowerPc7.

Those are far more than a 30% performance boost in base architecture.
