Hrm... because it's illegal here, and we are required by law to report any crime involving a minor that we have knowledge of? If a minor smells of it, that means that a law is directly being broken around them. If they're using it themselves, then they get to face the consequences. One of my roommates is a teacher, and she turned in a kid for smelling of it; his drug tests came back negative. Thus, his parents were implicated in it, and that was found to be the case. (The kid's father was smoking it while driving the kid to school.)

Oh, I forgot you were a bus driver. I thought you snitched on kids when you were still in school (a very not cool thing to do ). Anyays, marijuana isn't that big of a deal and it shouldn't be illegal. Won't the kid get a criminal record? You may have seriously screwed up his life.

Actually, the kid may have seriously screwed up his life, not dunno001. Whether or not it should be illegal is beside the point in this case. Fact is, it IS illegal, and as such he was breaking the law.
