That's earlier than what most people believe. If it's true then excellent! That June date that some shops have may be true, just after next year's E3.
And good to hear that they have Aliens running on their WiiU dev kit. Gearbox have proved to have a lot of imagination (anyone who has played Borderlands knows it) so let's hope that it turns into a reality and makes good use of the controller.
