point 1 - GTA will not slow down the wii - after all the name calling of the wii being a "kiddy" system and a "casual" system i don't get how anyone can think GTA would woo any of that market.
point 2 - i'm predicting disappointing sales for GTAIV. I base this solely off the opinions of three my friends (as i am not a GTA fan). Each of them owned a ps2, owned GTAIII, GTA VC, and GTA SA. Each of them were very dissapointed by GTA SA and the reasons they state was they were getting bored with the series.
okay, is my evidence anecdotal? yes, very but between their opinions, ps3 sales being below expectations, and higher than expectation wii sales i just have a gut feeling GTA is going to be the flagship of the decline of last generation gaming. just my opinion though, i can't prove a thing until the game is released and the sales data is reported.
