Why Is Wii Killing In Sales ?

Actually no $50 bucks isn't too much for me-------^

But OT: I'm thinking that perhaps people know for sure now that Wii in backwards compatible with Wii U, so maybe it's safer to buy the games to bring them over next gen ? It's gotta be something more then $50...
