It's doomed because it didn't outsell the iPod. Outsell the iPod? It's doomed because its biggest game didn't outsell Angry Birds. We've got this whole "doom' thing down to a science!! I'm just waiting for the green light to call the Wii U doomed. I want to give it at least a couple more days--or do you think I'm being too generous? |
You are too late on that. I am sure plenty of "hardcore" gamers are calling the Wii U doomed already. These gamers have vast experience and have been playing since PS1 days. That alone trumps my humble Atari 2600 beginnings. Thus, I will be forever labeled as a "casual" gamer.

Hmm. Better step my game up, then. I'm calling doom on the Playstation 5 before Sony even announces the Playstation 4. Can't let these young whippersnappers get the upper hand in the doom-saying game.

Now that's the spirit! The Playstation 5 could have be used to steer your intergalactic spaceship except they withheld the technology. Now the Playstation 6 will include that technology since you have already called doom on 5.
That brings up an interesting point. Is Sony going to keep with the Playstation brand forever? I know it has a strong brand following but once you get to Playstation 7 or whatever you think they could come up with a new name. Way off topic but I found it interesting thinking about it.
