I could stay in that 1 configuration forever but I don't like my fights lasting 1 hour, so no I would still change paradigms, get enemies weakened, my characters buffed then stagger them, heal if needed and finish them......I can get through most FF's through bashing attack attack attack and an occasional heal on most normal enemies, except boss battles where a little more strategy is needed. (here FF10, 13 are pretty much the exception since in X you need to change characters mid way and in 13 in the interest of getting 5 stars and a quick battle I actually used different paradigms to my advantage even against many normal enemies instead of bashing X due to staying in 1 paradigm). Quite frankly FF games are very easy in general and FF13 was one of the harder ones but still easy ultimately. And in a poll done in Japan FF13 was ranked the hardest FF ever, this actually lead tot he developers adding an EASY mode in the Xbox 360 version, make of that what you will. |
Yeah, that's what the two Ravager setup is for, you can tripple it up if you're leveled up enough. But I was just pointing out how easy and monotonous the game is. Like the only hardest part are the bosses and after game enemies, but even then your strategy barely changes to add Synergists and Sabatours. Then you're switching back to Ravagers for the stagger and Commandos for the kill. I personally find it wastes more time to switch out paradigms unless the enemy has high HP.
