This whole experiment is wrong on so many levels and i feel kind of ashamed that i find it very interesting.

What's interesting about it? I find it disgusting to use human beings as lab rats for the inhuman experiments based off of false premises perpetuated by conservative cultural myths.

of course it is disgusting! Nobody should ever have to endure something like that.

when i say i find it interesting does not mean i actually like what i read. i just don't have a better word to describe it.

let me put it this way: i hate the fact that someone had to suffer so i can gain the knowledge of how wrong they were with their ideas.

Well, it's pretty obvious why adversion therapy would fail. If I show you a piece of paper that's green, and I ask you "Porcupine, this piece of paper's black, no?", and you say "No, it's green" I will then slap you. We'll continue this, and eventually I'll start hitting you harder, possibly hiting you with objects. Eventually you'll learn that if you see the green paper, and say it's green I hit you, and if you say it's black I don't, so when I'll ask you if it's black, you'll answer "yes". However, that won't change the fact that you see a green piece of paper, no?

actually i kinda feel in that situation right now. are you continue slapping me with replies now until i admit i was wrong?

i already said i do not condone any of this. i still find it interesting. do i need to be healed now?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
