Forza 3 got higher reviews then GT5, and Forza 4 will only be better. It's already proven itself to be among the AAA titles. I own a Wii, PS3 and a 360 and if you ask me PS3 and 360 have about the same number of core games this fall. 360:Forza 4, Gears 3, Halo CEA, Witcher 2 PS3: Res3, TM, Uncharted 3 Wii: Zelda lol Then 3rd party fill in any tiny difference between PS3 and 360. Skyrim, Batman, CoD, Dues Ex, etc |
Forza 3 was a good game but not greater than GT5 because of its sheer scale. GT5 was still recommended by most reviewers (despite lower review scores) because of the total package even though it should've been better for the time that was given. You seem to have missed that in most reviews.
Secondly, if you count Halo CEA as a AAA exclusive, then you must also count the Team ICO collection and the GOW Collection. Ghost of Sparta was a PSP AAA exclusive. Remakes don't count. Lastly you omitted the rest of the year in which Sony has decimated Microsoft with exclusives. The Witcher 2 isn't exactly exclusive, but I guess we should give Microsoft the pity exclusive since Sony doesn't have it. Either way Sony still have more highly rated and anticipated exclusives.
PS3 exclusives coming soon:Resistance 3, Twisted Metal, Uncharted 3, SOTC and ICO collection, GOW collection (second version).
Others exclusives out this year: Killzone 3, Little Big Planet 2, InFamous 2.
(I also wont add all the extra mid level entry exclusive which will also be great. Variety is the spice of life, you know?)
Xbox 360 exclusives coming soon: Forza 4, Gears 3, Halo CEA, Witcher 2
XBox 360 exclusives out this year: The Last Templar
Lets not count all the exclusive content coming to the PS3 versions of multiplats this year and next year. Stop trying to narrow down a great year which was dominated by Sony. Enjoy your couple games, because next year will be a thrashing in itself, despite yet another Halo coming out. Lets hope this one doesn't get destroyed by another COD. Microsoft seems to think that all you guys need are shooters from first party. They struck a mighty fine deal to get you the Witcher 2.
