KWEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Insomniac Games recently were under-fire from countless PlayStation 3 owners due to their decision to go multi-platform. The Resistance creator has now responded to some of the fanboys who have slated the developer off.

The Ratchet & Clank and Resistance creators, who unveiled their multi-platform game as Overstrike, took to Twitter to respond to complains and criticism. One user said:

Disgusting, absolutely disgusting! We give You support (PS3 fan) and you sell us out making game for both platform…

Insomniac replied:

not sure how it’s disgusting when we still are working on two huge PS3 exclusives for this fall

The developer later said:

But we wouldn’t ever want to leave our loyal legion of PlayStation fans behind

A tweeter said that “You all better not make no Xbox 360 exclusive because that will be the last time I buy a game from ya.” to which Insomniac said: “we aren’t. it’s not true”.

The studio then stated:

how did we bakstab anyone? We are still working on PS3 exclusives and our new IP will be on PS3 as well

Others offered their support with one person saying:

Good luck guys, hope all goes well at E3. Multi-platform=more money=less financial constraints=better games for us! Win-win!

To which Insomniac replied:

ding ding ding. Exactly

Insomniac turned mult-platform in a deal last year that saw them sign a deal with EA Partners. It’s sad, however to see people slating the developer off.
