Square 'might' develop Final Fantasy VII-2 (Yes, 7-2)

I don't understand people's obsession with the FF series-2. As it is, the spinoffs already suck compared to the originals. Offspins and FF Random#-2 is just a way for them to milk your money and an insult to the original stories that supposedly ended there.
