She's definitely a genius level musician, this is why there are University level courses on her work.
Her latest album went in a different direction than what I would have hoped for; it's a bit too electronic for my tastes. Although the only songs I really don't like are Heavy Metal Lover and the one where she speaks in German.
My favourite songs are Fashion of His Love - a song with a strong 80's beat; it is very close to Whitney Houston's second single, I Wanna Dance with Somebody. Government Hooker is also a great track; and Judas is sickly catchy after the initial bit, but she should have left out the religious iconography, the track suffered commercially as a result of it.
Personally, I was really hoping that she would take a direction along the lines of Mariah Carey's earlier works with a little bit of punk-New Wave flair; based on what Lady Gaga plays live, it seems that sort of music is something she could do very well to both critical praise and commercial success.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
