Wii U won't render Wii games in HD

That is a more legitimate question now that we've found out they won't roll over DSiWare saves that might potentially be corrupt, potentiality for corruption is all the worse on the Wii end than mere DSiWare saves

VC and WiiWare i'd bet they do the same thing as DSiWare, but i am not going to lose my Wii saves (though i suppose some of those could be transferrable via SD, at least the ones that we can copy to SD in the first place)
