You don't look at it the right way at all. Here are several things to consider:
1) They are a little stupid for paying that much. I smoke TONS of weed and only pay about $15 per week. I also share this weed with at least 5 people every week.
2) How much does the average person spend on McDonald's or Cigarettes or other such crap things!? How then can you call weed smokers out for paying such a small amount?
3) TAKE A SEED, PUT IT IN SOME EARTH AND HEY PRESTO. It grows. Seriously. Not very difficult. One plant can supply you with pot for a whole year.

3. so sicne something is easy to grow or make it should be legal? how hard is it to make coccaine or herroine or ect. millions of people make beer at home and that is way tougher than growing marijuana. there are tons that make meth and that is reasonably difficult and dangerous, but doesn't stop them from amking it. Whether something is easy to make or hard to make has no bearing in regards to whether it should be legal or not. Hell i could easily go and kill someone.

1. I smoke more than most pot smokers. To give you an idea, I'm in the middle of exams and have smoked every day the last month. Yesterday I smoked 3 times and already twice today. If your friends pay a lot then that's their choice. Some people like the expensive stuff (sometimes its worth it), but don't argue that they are wasting money on weed when its one of the cheapest things to do. Just how much does the average college student spend on beer eh?

3. Once again missing my point: The argument here isn't legality! It was a financial consideration. You're the one missing the point, not the stoner who smokes every day - now there's something to consider.

I was making the point that smoking weed isn't a MAJOR WASTE of money as he stated.
Other places I also state that smoking weed doesn't make you a loser or an idiot. It also doesn't stop you from getting a little irritated when someone makes an uncalled-for snide remark due to interpreting something wrong. Oh you really got me there, ouch *lame*
Why not pick something I said and tell me why I'm wrong instead of throwing sarcasm in my face.
