When one is engaging in a Blue Ocean Strategy, or something akin to it, the majority just won't get what you are trying to do. They will argue, fight, and complain about it. They will say you are wrong, and badmouth you. In the end, they eventually come around, when you show success that they didn't expect, and often times say it was obvious.
