I'm sorry, but people who smoke pot are just morons. They sit there and tell themselves that they aren't going to do any real drugs or they aren't hurting themselves but lets see them five years down the line. What other drugs have you done? How much money have you wasted? How many friends have you lost? How many opportunities have you lost? Sorry for the rant but this is one of those sensitive issues. People who smoke pot are just fucking stupid and the people that sit there and tell themselves they're cool because they aren't pot heads are even bigger idiots. |
So you are basically saying marijuana is a gateway drug. That is complete bullshit. The only thing that makes marijuana a gateway drug is the fact that it is illegal. You have to go to a drug dealer to buy it. Turns out that some drug dealers actually sell other drugs. If you are inclined to try marijuana then you might try other drugs too especially if you are offered it by the drug dealer. Lets say marijuana was legal. When you go to the store to buy milk do you get offered crack? No and that is how it would be if it was legal. If you ask me having marijuana illegal is pure idiotic. It is far healthier than alcohol and cigarettes. I can shoot you down any argument you have against it.
(edit: took the get off your high horse comment out considering you pointed out that people dissing marijuana smokers... Anyways, I would like to point out any drug can cause people to go in a downward spiral in their life. You can drink too much , lose your job, abuse your wife, etc... It can happen with prescription medication, legal drugs, illegal drugs, etc... There are many successful marijuana smokers that hold down a high paying job, good husband/father, etc... Just like there are many lazy potheads. You can't just have your views influenced over one instance of your friend going down hill because he started with marijuana. If anything you should blame the other drugs not marijuana. If marijuana was legal then he may not have gone to a drug dealer for another drug)
Marijuana is the least of the worries today. Lately kids have been popping so many pills that their livers/etc will be shit when they get old. Prescription pills are far worse. Find me a case where someone overdosed on marijuana and died. Oh wait you can't....
