Now I'm sure you're either completely stoned or working for the man.

I'm not saying the concept doesn't offer a bunch of cool new ideas, but so did the Wii remote, and that didn't work out so great...

Don't get excited based on possible games in your imagination. Those are always the most fun, and guaranteed system sellers too

Wait for some actual games before you get so hyped, otherwise you're falling into the marketing trap.

Nintendo actually catered to third parties with this controller, so the wii mote comparison isn't really a fair one.

Should I compare it to the Gamecube then?

Ganecube failed because of the controller?

You're saying that catering to third parties automatically leads to better support.

edit: I'd like to add that Nintendo themselves didn't realize half of the cool ideas they had for the wiimote, regardless of third party supoort.

-IT has everything dual analog controller has and more.

-It can run the engines.

-Ports won't be a problem.

-Nintendo is working to make sure 3rd party games can sell on the console.

What's the problem?

You can just look at that controller and a bunch of gameplay possibilities pop up. 3rd parties would be working with a familiar controller concept that is capable of new...stuff.
