Thank you for the post. It answered my questions about the screen on the controller. My first, knee-jerk reaction is why have a freaking controller with a 2nd screen when it is your 60 inch Sony television that you are wanting to see when gaming?
More importantly, I can see quite well where Nintendo is going with this controller. I think they are trying to take a stab at the iPad and all other tablet PCs.
This being said and agreed upon by all here, what apps, what OS (Android, Apple, or Nintendo homemade), and what kind of Internet will the WiiU controller have?
If the WiiU does not offer any of these, then why put out a funky, contrarian controller with a sub par screen to any television with a screen larger than 6.2 inches?
Finally, does the controller have speakers and a mic to make, take, and listen to your peeps callin' ya? If not, then why is Nintendo going down this "we have a quarter of the iPad's functionality on our WiiU controller" route?
