the 5 oclock news had teh Wii U on it as well. the last time i saw a home console on the news was the Wii. I think with the graphics and the 3rd parties already starting to make games for the Wii U i think not only will they get the casual this time but the hardcore will jump right on it as well. for me the Wii U is pretty much a perfect system. i mean graphics is amazing, the controls which at first i was skeptical on how a touch screen in a controller would work. but after seeing it in action and the ideas rushing through my brain controls became amazing as well. i know there are some that say what about the console itself. to me the look of the console now is a mute point. the look of the outside of a console shouldnt worry people at all. i mean look at the ps3 lol its a glorified george forman grill. but people dont judge it by its looks do they? not anymore. as for price i have no worries about it cause nintendo always delivers quality with affordablility. even back in the days of the gamecube the graphics looked great for that generation. so now that the Wii U has been proven to have HD, and enough "disc space" for games and the controls are a developers dream. not to mention it wont be the developers having to take advantage of the controllers touch screen if they dont have to cause the screen can still work by streaming the game from teh console to the controller to play without the tv in all the HD glory. even prices for the games could still range from 50-60 dollars. what i dont get is why all the hatred towards the new system. unless your a flaming xbox fanboy or a ps fanboy which there is no satisfying you unless it comes from your console of choice.
