They totally blew it, which sucks because Sony and MS both had bad shows, so it was Nintendo's for the taking, and they dropped the ball. This is baffling to me because they had a NEW CONSOLE, and still couldn't deliver. What I don't get is how there were no new Wii games OR Wii U games shown. This is E3, Nintendo, now is the time to show this stuff!
And frankly, I am not sold on that Wii U controller. Why do I need a screen on my controller? The Wiimote offered a fresh way to play games and made games more accessible, this on the other hand is essentially nothing different than a DS, and seems like it would make games more awkward to control. I just feel like Nintendo is becoming more hardware focused and less software focused.
