I think the WiiU is a great machine. However, the part that irritates me about it is that that is what the original Wii should have been. If that was the case, then nintendo fans wouldnt have to invest in a new machine next year and would be on par with PS3/360. I feel like they are getting jipped. Watching the conference, the attendees were getting all hyped when seeing the games releasing on the WiiU, but these games will be releasing on the PS3/360 (some of them will be released first on the HD twins).

I am still a little skeptical about the controller. Its concept is cool, but it is just enormous! How much would a stand alone controller cost? It cant just be 50 bucks! Is it comfortable to hold for a lengthy period of time? Lots of other questions come to mind. So although I wont buy it, I would still like to be convinced that it is a worthy purchase.

Also, I don't really consider it next gen. There isnt anything about it that was next gen. The controller is truley its saving grace. Time will tell.

I just find it funny how Sony/360 went after the casual crowd with their move/kinect, and now nintendo is going after the core crowd with WiiU. It is one crazy generation!

I'll say; it's almost as if Nintendo, and MS/Sony have switched places.
