This could change, but right now, while it seems disappointing gaming-wise, it seems beneficial for my wallet.

So other players would always use Wiimotes or classic controllers?

If true, that would cut off a large amount of possibilities from what the controller could do. Local multiplayer seems like the most convincing way to begin to justify this controller...
