This picture shows one of the WiiU consoles at the tech demo stages at E3, the design may change in the final version.

This's how the WiiU control looks in your hands, it's not as big and unconfortable; early reports says that works pretty nice.

No HD mentions, but a USB HD peripheral should do the work.
