So what great things do you expect from the touch screen?

With the Wiimote's pointer you could already kind of "touch" a point in the screen, this is the same thing but on a separate screen.


Dynamic context sensitive controller

Programmable hot keys

RPG menu's

world maps

objectives/tutorials

secret information in local multiplayer games

It's another screen, what can't you do with it?


Programmable hot keys -> I think gamepads already have enough buttons.

RPG menus, etc. -> I don't want to be looking at the controller every few seconds when I'm playing a game.

There might be some exceptions to the rule, but as a rule I expect most uses of the screen to be gimmicky and/or annoying.
