I can't believe some of you call that conference underwhelming. It's not that it was underwhelming at all (in my view), it's that some of you expect too much [or give too much credibility to any and every rumor].
New Handheld (with a good showing of titles and competitive price announcement) Uncharted 3 game play Resistance 3 game play inFAMOUS 2 showing Exclusive content from some fairly large multiplatform titles New IP DUST 514 $499 3D TV bundle Great Bioshock Infinite showing New Sly announcement New Move title (although this one is admittedly "meh" on my radar) Starhawk re-cap Instant apology for PSN outage
Again, I think some of you expect too much, although I too expect Nintendo to take home the best show. Hardly because Sony's was "underwhelming" though.
That said, I have inFAMOUS 2 (Hero Edition) in my posession now. We'll chat another time.

Well,in my personal opinion the conference was underwhelming because most of that stuff was expected. The only thing that wowed me was the $499 3D TV bundle, that was a great and smart move bye sony. I personally expect that bundle to sell like gangbusters. I personally did'nt think it was a bad conference, but I was'nt OMG wowed bye the conference.

That compliments what I said; the conference wasn't underwhelming, you just expected too much (or expected more than it could provide to you]. That doesn't make the presentation underwhelming, because it's not like there were any promises made to you prior to the show. Now don't get me wrong, part of me is understanding about it [gaming news usually over hypes rumors and speculation prior to E3 shows]. The other part of me, however, says maybe people should go into these shows with lower expectations. Trust me, you'll be much less disappointed in the end.

Stop the damage control man. Sony had nothing. At least MS got two Halo games announced. PS3 got nothing new!!
If this was the MS conference you would have called it underwhelming.
