Now everyone knows Nintendo is my favorite company and this year I think they have E3 in the bag. But I think people are getting way to ahead of themselves. GTA5 and such... seriously not going to happen. Infact I doubt if we will see all that many third party titles at E3 for Nintendo's new system.

Why won't we see all that many? Because chances are the new Nintendo system will launch fall/winter 2012. Many of the third party offerings will likely be multiplatform titles. Meaning they aren't going to jump the gun and show a game a year early on Nintendo's platform. I suspect we will see something similiar to the 3DS last year. Alot of developers and publishers names with TBA titles next to them. Example UbiSoft has 5 titles in development, all TBA.

I think what we can expect to see is five to ten first party titles and maybe a few third party exclusives. But I doubt we'll see that many third party multiplatform titles that haven't already been announced. Unless Nintendo announces their new console will launch in early 2012 in which case maybe third parties will be more willing to show off some ports.

Fact is fall 2012 is along ways away and if Nintendo launches then its not advantageous for developers to show their titles at this E3. We can expect Nintendo's first party content tomorow to be over whelming. I expect a few more Wii games, lots of 3DS with a good unvieling of Cafe. Infact if Nintendo plays this right it could be the best Nintendo E3 since 2006.

Think about it, new hardware like Cafe, recently released hardware (3DS) new content for all of Nintendo's consoles. If Nintendo throws in Smash Cafe you've got perhaps one of the best E3 showings ever. Infact I'd say Nintendo's E3 showings are always either overwhelmingly some of the best E3 shows ever or on the other side some of the worst E3's.

I have yet to see any manufacturer beat Nintendo's E3 2006 show, it was amazing. I wouldn't be all that suprised if Nintendo tops it this morning! I'm so giddy, only problem is my HD TV died so I had to hook up my small standard def TV to watch E3 on. My PC's audio is out so I can't watch it here. But hopefully HD or not I will be impressed by Nintendo's show!
