Good streaming technology that allows for play with little lag needs you to be close to the point you're recieving from, so if they are going to be streaming games, the gameplay quality should be hurt noticably if they try to stream to you no matter where you are. That's not going to drive Monster Hunter playing PSP owners anywhere, not to mention Monster Hunter going to the NGP (depending on the 3DS not recieving its own game of course). |
I'm talking about their strategy as a whole. "And a handheld" is referring to the 3DS, i'm saying if Cafe is as you speculate, the whole strategy is made to make Sony obsolete in Japan (now a more "portable" console might not help as much in the West, but there's only a day left before we can speak with more certainty on the subject, and such an initiative could fail either way)
