This is assuming your talking about HDI scales, unemployment rates, GDP, standard of living etc.

New Zealand is 19th in the world on the HDI scale. GDP per capita it's 28th in the world. 15th in the worlds quality of life index (source the Economist).

I don't think New Zealand would be making any top 5 lists Rath.

And you should be including Ireland in that list. As of the moment it has the highest quality of life in the world.
