Indeed it all rests on E3. If they do nothing at E3 they'll probably ship another 400k ish, but there has been too much smoke lately, sales after sales, 3D needing a new motherboard (something along those lines) changing skus, bundles ect.
E3 is very start of June as well so whatever they do will have a full 4 weeks to take effect.
