I found a great article that touches up on L.A Noire's problems, mostly regarding the writing. It's lengthy and broken into three parts, but I found it interesting. There are spoilers so you've been warned!

I'm surprised he didn't talk about the bulldozer chase, which was one of the stupidest things ever. So this driver chases Kelso with a bulldozer, trying to kill him, but he crashes in the end. What does Kelso do? He simply walks away. He doesn't question him or something.
