That would only solve part of the problem. You see, there is no definite point of time when people stop being stupid. Once someone turns 18, it doesn't mean that the person will never act like an idiot again. Sure, the probability is lower at a higher age, but it's not completely eliminated.

Setting an age limit would only guarantee you that all the idiots you run into are at least 18 years old. Nothing more. And gaming forums should be evidence enough that adults don't necessarily act mature.

Agreed. There are mature 15 year olds (as I think the author mentioned in the article), and there are idiotic 30 year olds.

I could take a few crazy adults that I can easily mute/block if it meant all the loud mouthed kids were elsewhere though.
