A quad core processor seems far more likely then a 3 core one that was talked about before - it's now the standard that PC games are written for. Love the 1GB video memory, much better then the Ps3 (512Mb shared with main) or Xbox have.  I think 1 Gb instead of 500MB of Main memory would  be wiser.

It'll be interesting if they go for a large harddrive instead of solid state...but I doubt it, which makes me think this is fake.

Just one correction.  PS3 has 256mb video memory and 256mb RAM, not share. 360 has 512mb shared system memory.

So this new Nintendo system has basically twice the RAM available to the system than the 360 and PS3 and then an extra 1GB of video memory which I am guessing is to help with the 4-screen output to the controller screens.

It has a 4 core Power6 CPU at 3.5GHz which is faster and one more core than the 360 has.  This system is easily quite a bit more powerful than both the 360 and PS3 (if the specs are to be believed) and will actually have quite a low manufacturing cost (if the controllers themselves don't cost $100 each).  But for the next PS or Xbox, I have a feeling they will be nearly twice as powerful as these leaked specs and cost roughly the same to produce by releasing a year or 2 later.
