i did the same with a friend, only its he who had to buy everything (except my gameboy and gamecube)

But you know if the entire idea surrounds playing games like you did with GC and GBA I would not call that innovation. I see it more like an upgrade too use a controller with a screen instead of a handheld console.
I do not think that idea is enough to make lots of people want to buy it. I sure hope there is mote to Café then just a screen on a controller…

imagine this, playing pokemon together on Cafe, each with his own controller and pokemon deck but at the sametime traveling the game's world together, you can have a battle with the other players and you can drop in and drop out anytime you like.
i like it that way, since i love offline multiplayer a lot, and i'm hoping thats how they are going to make it.

Sure I agree that it is a cool idea but don’t you feel it is limited?
I suspect that the controller might have a 3D screen like the 3DS.
Add motion sensing and maybe a camera on that.
actually what if this screen is not attached to the controller and instead is a headset and the controllers are advanced WiiMotes. Now that is what people wanted ever since Le revolution!
Buuuuut I’m not getting my hopes up :P
