Then you get the generation differences... afterall sports medicine technology has gotten crazy better over the years. People like Jordan and Dirk are going to have 5 more years of being in their prime then Bird&Jordan.
What if he needs a fairly sevre surgery... Who knows what Benard King's career looks like if they had better medical technology.
The what ifs of sports are always pretty interesting. People never seem to look deep enough.
