week more for Nintendo's next console reveal. Are you hyped? Well maybe not, but it'll interesting to guess what Cafe means for Nintendo future. Every console represents a shift in the company's mentality, probably it's difficult to see but Nintendo evolves every time they introduce a new product, with the NES it was the family fun oriented machine with a strict control over 3rd parties, with the SNES they took away the family oriented product to focus more on a specific group, the n64 was a beast with a bad format and a even worse relation with 3rd parties, the Gamecube was a 100% gaming machine that didn't catch it and finally the Wii open new markets that nobody wanted before. So as a company what changes would you like to see in Nintendo's future?

.- Work as one company and not 3 different companies: When Nintendo releases a game in Japan there're few chances to see that game overseas (unless it's a big franchise), in fact this generation could be the worst localization record for the company, when it's true that some game are too specific for a market (like Mainichi Issho for the PS3 or Captain Ranbow for the Wii) the true is even this day we had big gaps without any new Wii games, gaps that could be closed if NOA or NOE decided to bring more games.

.- Use the hype: Back in the early days of the Wii we had some hype for future games, Brawl had the Dojo and Twilight Princess had constant information. But at certain point Nintendo decided that this strategy was bad and instead they decided to announce games just a couple of onths before release; this actually hurt a ot of games like ExciteBots, Endless Ocean Blue World, Warioland, etc. Sure the big franchises doesn't need this treatment but the new or small franchises deserve a chance, even the biggest release for the Wii in Japan is submited in darkness (Dragon Quest X)

.- Online experience is important: Things came too late for the Wii, chat support is rare in the console and didn't catch, the friend codes were a disaster, things that are normal for other systems like lobbies, matchmaking, tourments, etc, are rare in the Wii, Could Cafe bring a more copeling online experience? Who knowsbut imagine the meltdownsif Nitendo decides to stick with the friend codes.

.- Be a friend with the 3rd parties: Here's a litle secret, Nintendo has never been good with 3rd parties. But in a world where the most successful game in the PS3 is a multiplataform FPS it's important to catch that portion of the cake, Wii suffered a lot for receiving downgraded version of popular games (Dead Rising, Call of Duty 4), alternative versions (Dead Space Extraction, Madden) or nothing, so it's important for Nintendo to catch some big games from 3rd parties.
