you said rose was clearly the best player in the league this year.. when he wasn't clearly the best player in the league..

not whether or not he was the most valuable player of the league, you were responding to what I had said, yes his value to chicago was greatest, but his value to the league was not when there were 8 other players that had a better season than he did..

You cannot judge a player across the entire league.  There is about a million other aspects that come into play.  Talent surrounding the said player,  the caliber of the team played on.   You could say that Lebron or Wade or Kobe on the Bulls would make them just as good, but you can't prove it regardless.

What we can prove is that Derrick Rose was the most valuable player to his team this season and in around about way the best player in the league for his respective team.

Wade didn't win mvp because lebron was the favorite along with kobe and even carmelo when they entered the league.. wade taking the heat over the mavericks in 2006 by himself(with a weak shaq) and he only won finals mvp.. not league.. considering he was literally doing things only jordan had ever done on an nba nasketball court..

Oh my lord.  You're just a Heat-fanboy no wonder.   Titles Wade has won with Shaq - 1  .   Titles Wade has won without Shaq - 0.   Again, it was arguable if Wade was the best player on the Heat in 06,  let alone the NBA.   Lebron on the flipside took a non-playoff team and made them playoff contenders immediately.

and in 08 although his team only made the first round of the play offs, he wasn't even a big contendor for mvp despite clearly taking every heat team after 2007 into the nba play offs all by himself.. literally with rosters that make cleveland's current roster look like an all star assemble..

Lebron was/is and has been a better player than Wade.  Period.  End of discussion.  Wade is great but Lebron is better.  That is why Wade doesn't earn MVP because he isn't as good as Lebron or Kobe.   Wade can't do it unless his team is covered with superstars.

Rose has become the favorite after lebron became hated by the cleveland fans and then eventually the media.. rose being in chicago, and doing all star plays at times even jaw dropping plays only comparable to things lebron, wade, or kobe, or iverson,  had done in their careers automatically makes him the favorite..

Rose has led the Bulls to great heights almost all by himself with a great leadership mentality.

want to know how biased the media/nba is?

ROSE and kobe made it to the nba all nba first team

Wade didn't.. neither did Dirk who is one of if not the best PF in this league at the moment

Wade isn't as good as either of those two.  I hate to break it to you.  Dirk might true reason to gripe though.

no one here is comparing anyone to jordan either.. it's ok if jordan won a championship in 1991, but when he came back to the bulls later on in his career he won a couple of championships with pippen.. a hall of famer..

Huh?  Jordan won in 91/92/93  and then 96/97/98.   Pippin wasn't immediately a Hall of Famer, nor was he good enough to win any titles alone.  It took him time to develop his skills and become a better player (With the aid of Jordan).  I'm so sick of this argument,  It just goes to show how much of a gutless, weak decision Lebron made.  The Cavaliers were competitive year after year during Lebron's tenure.  Constantly spending more and putting more, better players on the roster.

lebron left because the cavs weren't giving him the tools necessary for a championship(in your opinion delonte and mo is a roster, that isn't a roster, lebron was the only all star on that team, you expected him to beat rondo, garnett, allen, and pierce..

You can't just acquire a roster.  Stop being simple-minded or Madden-esque with this.  Miami just dumped all of their players and sucked year after year until they were on the verge of losing Wade as well.  It takes time, the NBA draft, Free Agency, etc.   The Cavaliers didn't do anything that Lebron didn't want.  They tried to bring in any player they could to help that team win.

As I said, Jordan didn't run to the Pistons when he couldn't beat them.  Or run to Los Angeles,  or Boston so he could be with 'other' All-Stars.  He practiced and worked harder with his teammates to get better and improve.  He didn't throw them under the bus or imply that he was the King and the only viable player.

the celtics are the reason he even joined wade and bosh.. they blew out miami and cleveland and lebron has never beaten the celtics in a series, neither has wade)

Winning easier and sooner is the reason he joined Wade and Bosh. The Celtics were having a down season this year, they would have been dethroned by a strong Lebron led Cavaliers team this season, or a strong Bulls or Heat.   The Celtics are old and look over the hill at this point (Just like what happened to the Celtics, Lakers and Pistons teams that Jordan ended up facing.)

he did make it to the finals but failed against the spurs.. after that he never got that far into the play offs.. the fact the miami oppurtonity came up, is why he left cleveland, he said so himself..

We know he said so himself.  He planned it years prior at the Olympics.

he would have never been able to play with wade if he hadn't signed with miami.. chicago maybe, but he didn't want to follow jordan's legacy completely, he wanted a legacy for himself, same with d wade.. who is now hated in chicago for absolutely no reason.. what lebron did was legal in the nba, sure he broadcasted on live tv, but hey no one hated him when he announced he would..  only when he said "south beach"..

Had Lebron given the Cavaliers a firm committment earlier in his career, they would have been able to do a lot more.  Bosh could have come to Cleveland and played with Lebron.   Adding Bosh to Cleveland would have made a very strong roster.

Lebron doesn't and won't have a legacy when it's all said and done.  He can't touch Jordan (That ship has already sailed).  The best he can hope for is being a Kevin Garnett type of legacy.

Had Lebron stayed in Cleveland, convinced Bosh to come or brought Championships to Cleveland, he would have had a case to make.  Since he didn't,  he showed that he isn't a once in a lifetime type of player but more of just a solid role player (Like Scottie Pippen).
