I've been thinking it over and its starting to come slightly into focus. For one I think I was wrong about a prominent secondary screen being cumbersome. Sounds silly but I sat here and pretended to play cafe, looking back and forth from between my hands to the tv (I was never fortunate enough to play the GC GBA back in the day) and it actually feels completely natural imo. course it was just pretend so...
Also I got to thinking about how many ideas R&D had for the GC GBA that never got a chance to grow due to the ill fated cube. Nintendo thought it was going to be big business originally. It may just have been before its time what with those horrid cables and high cost.
That said I'm still skeptical of this side step away from motion controls, its not anything like what I was expecting a couple months ago. If it turns out true I hope we at least get a "cafe Sports" moteplus bundle at launch to set the proper precident.
