Are you serious right now?  I mean do you honestly buy into every single line of marketing that comes out of Sony and its 1st party studios?  I mean honestly I don't understand why you are so committed to Sony Defence its not like your on their payroll.

Uncharted 3 will look beautfiul in 3D and will probably be the most impressive looking console game released so far, yes that is indeed a fact.

But its also a FACT that it is nowhere near what the PC can do in terms of 3D rendering and graphics.  The PS3 just simply isn't anywhere near powerful enough.

What Naughty Dog did for you doubt them? That's my point.

Until you prove them wrong... that's not marketing or I defending the Sony side of the force.

The PS3 hardware is not capable of producing full 1080p in each eye running at a constant 60fps with high level graphics.

There I just proved them wrong.

Naughty Dog didn't even claim that...

You didn't prove anybody wrong, stop putting words in other people's mouths.

When did I ever claim that they did say that?

I'm arguing with Ethomaz who apparently claims that Uncharted 3 will do to 3D what no other game so far has, and directly stated to someone else that he feels that Uncharted can compete with what the PC can do in terms of impressive 3D.

I'm simply telling him he's wrong.  That is all.  But of course instead of a rational well thought out post your pic of a monkey facepalming works much better.....

You said you proved Naughty Dog wrong, and last time I checked, Naughty Dog didn't claim that Uncharted 3 would run in 1080p, 60fps, 3D.

Not even Ethomaz claimed that.

And even if you did direct that "I proved them wrong" comment at Ethomaz then 1080p and 60fps is not needed to make a great 3D game, it's all about the depth the developer can create. For some games it works, for others is doesn't.

The argument isn't about how powerful the hardware is, it's about what the developer can do with that hardware.

And I used the monkey picture to make my comment a bit more lighthearted, so maybe you would be a little less antagonising, it clearly didn't work though.

I'll leave it at that, I have faith in Naughty Dog and you don't need an expensive PC to produce some of the best 3D effects.
