I believe the contoller/screen is their new idea, with motion/pointer being supported with a separate controller.

I've been thinking along this line too, that whatever the Cafe's main controller is it will still use the wiimoteplus as its version of the now somewhat standard "motion wand" controller.

Only thing about that is the constant loss of calibration, an issue I was hoping would be fixed when the next Nintendo console launched.

 

Same here.  It'd be really great if perhaps there was a new, improved motion controller introduced with Cafe, but yeah, I don't see it being the rumored "screen controller".  It just doesn't seem practical to have a one-handed motion/pointer controller with a large, six inch screen on it...
