Wii Sports is now possibly the biggest franchise ever created so I think it's safe to say it is highly unlikely that the next Nintendo console's primary controller won't be designed with it in mind. This would be incredibly stupid and risky. Pretty much all the mock-up we have seen seem to be based on the concept of a classic controller but I think it's totally possible to just add more buttons and sticks to the wiimote because the first one was already extremely small and light. This could be the perfect way to have a more competent classic controller in "NES"-style while still giving the opportunity to use motion controls. This seems like the more logical step really.
